Mithali Raj, who has been a long-time captain of the Indian women's cricket team, is called the Sachin Tendulkar of women's cricket. We are saying this because their women's cricket figures are as great as Sachin Tendulkar's. The similarity between the two is that these Indian giants have played international cricket for more than two decades.

Today we are talking about right-handed batsman Mithali Raj, because today is his 37th birthday on 3 December. Born on 3 December 1982 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Mithali Raj played her first international ODI match in June 1999. At the age of just 16 and a half, Mithali Raj made her international debut with the ball of leather. It is just like Sachin Tendulkar made his debut at the same age in 1989.

It is not known when Mithali Raj, who was a dance addict, started to spoil the rhythm of bowlers around the world.  Mithali Raj has done wonders while playing for the women's team, which all the legendary male players have not been able to do. Playing on the 22-yard strip for two decades is no small matter. Only the cricketer can know how hard it is for each match.
