New Delhi: The BJP had chalked out a strategy for a mega celebration of PM Narendra Modi's 71st birthday. On this occasion, a 20-day grand campaign called 'Seva aur Samarpan Abhiyan' was launched. The event will continue from September 17 to October 7. A number of orders have been issued to the cadre by the party's top leadership for the entire event. The BJP had on Friday aimed at record-breaking vaccination.

On this special occasion, the party high command gave 1 a day to the cadre. 5 crore immunization, health and blood donation camps, distribution of ration to the poor and e-auction of gifts received by Prime Minister Modi. On Friday, party national president Jagat Prakash Nadda will inaugurate a painting exhibition to mark modi's two-decade political journey. It is only after Prime Minister Modi took office in 2014 that the BJP celebrates his birthday as 'Seva Diwas' and does public welfare activities throughout the week. This time the programme has been extended by 20 days.

The Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday requested the countrymen to vaccinate their families and loved ones and give pm Narendra Modi his birthday gift. Mandaviya tweeted, "PM Narendra Modi has given a gift to the country by providing free vaccine for all. "Tomorrow is the birthday of our beloved Prime Minister, let us do 'vaccine service' to help those loved ones, family members and all sections of the society get vaccinated. Many people donated blood during this period. To make this day special, both the government and the people laid down their lives and more than 2 crore people were vaccinated against corona. Not only for vaccination, but also for blood donation on Prime Minister Modi's birthday. In the BJP office, party workers donated blood by registering in huge figures.
