Akhil Akkineni makes his mark as a child artist

Who does not know Akhil Akkineni, son of Nagarjuna, a well-known actor of South films in today's time, always remains in discussions due to something. At the same time, he is celebrating his 27th birthday today. Not only this, Akhil Akkineni has won the hearts of his fans due to his acting and smartness. Within this, he also remains in the headlines for his films.

Akhil Akkineni was born on 8 April 1994. He made his debut as a child artist in his father's production, the Indian adaptation of Siva Nageswara Rao's comedy Sisindri (1995), Baby Day Out (1994). In 2014, Akhil Akkineni appeared in a cameo in Vikram Kumar's hit family drama Manam (2014), which featured actors from three generations of the Akkineni family. He said the cameo was an instant hit with the audience. Akhil Akkineni, along with his grandfather, father, and stepbrother, described his shoot for the film as "nervous and exciting." Manam became one of the most profitable Telugu films of 2014. Critics dubbed the film as a "classic," winning several awards, including the Best Film at the Filmfare Awards. Hale later appeared in several commercials, most notably for Carbon, Mountain Dew, and Titan.

Akkineni's first lead role was V. Vinayak's Akhil (2015). To prepare for the role, the actor along with his personal trainer Kicha enrolled in a stunt workshop and attended the workshop in Thailand for two months. Produced by actor Nitin, the film began production in December 2014 and featured him alongside fellow debutant actress Sayesha Saigal. The film was released with poor reviews, and despite expectations, it was a disaster at the box office. Subsequently, he went on a two-year hiatus.

His second film Hello was directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam. It was released on 22 December 2017, with the middle-class Abhay and despite good reviews, becoming an equal parser at the box office. Akkineni's latest project, Sri Majnu, is directed and co-starred by Venky Atluri, Nidhi Agarwal. It was released on 25 January 2019. As of November 2020, he is working on his fourth film, titled Most Eligible Bachelor, starring Pooja Hegde and produced by Geetha Arts Bunny Vas and Vasu Verma.
