Actor Tom Cruise always remains in discussions due to some film or thing. Today, Tom Cruise is celebrating his 57th birthday.

During college days, if a boy used to grow his hair, put on a laser jacket and fly a bike, we used to tell him "Don't try to act like Tom Cruise." Cruise is a real Hollywood superstar. Everything that comes to mind when we hear Tom Cruise's name - high-class action, stunts, glamorous star and shiny lifestyle. But is this Hollywood hero ending? Thomas Cruise Mapother aka Tom Cruise is 55 years old. His previous film 'The Mummy' has flopped badly. His upcoming films are mostly the sequel to his old films Top Gun, Mission Impossible, Age of Tomorrow. He is only repeating the old formula for success.

Tom Cruise started at the age of 19 - the film was Endless Love. People then started to recognize him. But Tom Cruise became a star from 'Risky Business'. In the film, his dance is still 'iconic', sliding the floor in only a shirt and socks. After this, films like Top Gun and Days of Thunder made him the top star of Hollywood. After successful films like Rain Man, Interview with the Vampires, Mission Impossible gave him an international identity. Cruise is not just an action star. He also did films like Born on the Fourth of July, Jerry Maguire and Magnolia. He received an Oscar nomination for all three.

On 9 May 1987, Cruise married Mimi Rogers. But after three years, they got divorced. It is believed that Rogers introduced the cruise to cytology. Cruise met Nicole Kidman on the set of his film Days of Thunder. This 11-year relationship gave Hollywood the biggest power couple of all time. They were married in 1990. The two adopted children Izabella and Connor. Till then, Tom was quite active in cytology. Perhaps this was the reason for his separation from Nicole. This was followed by a discussion of Penelope Cruz and Tom's relationship. In April 2005, Cruise began dating Katie Holmes.
