Popular singer Udit Narayan has turned 64 today, but even today, the magic of his magical voice continues. He is always seen smiling and has given many romantic songs to Bollywood. He was born on 1 December 1955 in a middle class Brahmin family in Nepal and at an early age he had scored the goal that he would become a playback singer.

It is said that the journey of becoming a playback singer was not easy and in the early days of Struggle, he also sang songs for many small budget films. With this, there was a turning point in his career in the year 1988 when he got the opportunity to sing in the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Papa says Bada Naam Karega… He achieved a lot of popularity by singing the song. Yes, this song got him recognition in Bollywood and after that he sang about 30,000 songs in 36 languages one after the other.

Let me tell you that in the year 2009 he was also honored with the Padma Shri Award. Now-a-days Udit sings more Bhojpuri songs and his production company makes Bhojpuri and Maithili films. Once great singer Lata Mangeshkar also praised him, saying, "Nobody has a more original and beautiful voice than Udit in the present generation."
