Dehradun: Cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat, who is considered a symbol of upheaval in the politics of Uttarakhand, has once again reached Delhi. In the midst of the bitter cold, the politics of the state has once again heated up. The round of speculation about his future move has gathered momentum. However, while talking to the media on his way to Delhi, he only said that just as Harish Bhai has spoken of opening his cards, my cards are yet to be opened.

Another BJP MLA is rumoured to have resigned on Monday. In the political corridors, there is talk of the resignation of MLA Umesh Sharma Kau in the Raipur assembly seat in Dehradun. It is being said that he too may join the Congress. Harak Singh Rawat has visited Delhi for the second time in the last 3 days. As soon as he was informed of his sudden departure to Delhi, there has once again been a political stir. Sources also said that Harak Singh Rawat may join the Congress along with his daughter-in-law Anukriti.

In fact, the list of BJP candidates is still awaited, and discussions are going on in all the political corridors about Harak's behaviour. According to sources, Harak is pressing for a ticket for his daughter-in-law Anukriti as well. He had also not attended the BJP core group meeting held on Saturday. These activities are also being linked to resentment. It remains to be seen what Harak Singh's next step is.
