New Delhi: Relations between India and Pakistan these days on the Kashmir issue are quite tense. There is fierce rhetoric from both countries. It includes cricketer B of both countries. India's two star cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Mohammed Shami strongly condemned the statement made by the Pakistan PM at the United Nations General Assembly last month. He described it as threatening and hate speech. Fast bowler Shami tweeted on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and said, 'Mahatma Gandhi spent his life spreading the message of love, harmony and peace. Imran Khan was threatened from the United Nations stage and tried to spread hatred.

Pakistan needs a leader who talks of development, jobs and economic development, not promoting war and terrorism. Harbhajan Singh criticized Imran in a tweet, writing, 'Imran during his speech at UNGA indicated to India a possible nuclear war. As a key player, Imran Khan's words 'bloodbath' and 'fight to the end' will further increase the hatred between the two countries. As a fellow player, I expect him to promote peace. In fact, Imran Khan gave a provocative statement that if justice is not found, Muslims will take up arms.
