New Delhi: Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Puri has welcomed the Delhi High Court's verdict on the Central Vista Project. In all, the cost is around Rs 1300 crore. The Union Minister said that the 75th anniversary of Independence in 2022 will be celebrated in the new Parliament'.

Hardeep Puri further said that the old Parliament House was in the seismic zone-2 of the earthquake area, but the new building is being built in Seismic Zone-4. Where the risk is low. He said parliament house was built 100 years ago, it was not for today. It was built by a government that ruled the country. He said Rashtrapati Bhavana, north block and south block will not be under in the central vista project.
