Hardik Patel admitted in hospital following a deterioration in health on 14th day of Hunger strike

Hardik Patel, leader of Patidar Reservation Movement and chief of Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PASS), has been admitted to the hospital due to deterioration in health. He is on an indefinite hunger strike since 13 days, demanding reservations for Patidar community and loan waiver for farmers. In the morning, doctors advised him to be hospitalized. Hardik has been taken to Solala Civil Hospital. This is the 14th day of hunger strike on Patidar Reservation Movement. Following this Hardik Patel’s health is constantly worsening due to fasting.

Hardik Patel had announced no drinking water during the fast on Thursday due to lack of positive feedback from the PM Modi led government. However, the Patidar Reservation Committee on Hardik's decision said that the government is playing with the life of Hardik. At the same time Gujarat Congress has announced that if the state government does not talk to Hardik Patel, then leaders of the grand old party will hold a 24-hour fast on Friday in support of PASS leader.

On September 4, doctors from the Sola Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad held a medical check-up of Hardik announced that the young leader needs to be hospitalized since he had lost 20 kilos of his weight.
