Cheela Wildlife Advocate LP Tamta of Rajaji Tiger Reserve Park said that a total of 120 elephants appeared in the park's Chila, Gauhari Range and Ravasan Unitan after two days of counting. The Chila range saw the highest of 80, 37 in Ravasan and three in Gauhari range. The park's Haridwar Wildlife Advocate Komal Singh said that 53 elephants were seen in Ramgarh range, 31 in Motichur range, 14-14 in Haridwar and Beriwada range and two elephants in Dholkhand range. Not a single elephant was seen in Kansar range. On Monday, counting continued till late night on the last day. Along with this, on Tuesday, authentic numbers of elephants will be released after matching Park and Haridwar Forest Division.

Special thing for your information is that out of total 242 elephants seen in all the ranges of the park, Chila and 133 elephants were seen in Ramgarh range alone. At the same time, this number of elephants in Chila and Ramgarh range is more than half of the total number of elephants seen in the park. However, the exact situation will be clear only after three full days elephants are counted. At the same time, elephants are seen in Haridwar Range, Shyampur, Rasiabar, Khanpur and Chidipur Range of Haridwar Forest Division. On the other hand, Haridwar Ranger Dinesh Naudiyal said that in two days' count, three tusker elephants appeared on Kher island near Kishanpur in Haridwar range.
