Recently a case of rape is registered from Haridwar. In this case, criminal incidents with women and girls are increasing in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. There is no stopping to the cases. The case is from the Laksar area of Haridwar district. The case of rape of a 10-year-old minor girl has come to light and the police have registered a case against the accused and initiated an inquiry.

In a complaint to the police on Friday, the victim's father said that "he and his wife had gone out of the house for labouring work and their son had gone to school. Meanwhile, their 10-year-old daughter was alone at home. Meanwhile, a young man from the neighbourhood manipulated her and took her to his house where he raped the girl in the room. When the girl made a noise, some people in the neighbourhood rushed to the spot.
