In this case, the police say that Shalu (24) (name changed) originally from Chhattisgarh used to live in an ashram in Haridwar in 2010. A doctor's eye fell on her and after that the accused started intimidating and made her a victim of his lust. This trend continued for almost four years and due to fear, the girl did not tell anyone anything. After that, she returned back to her village and in the meantime, she came to Delhi for some work and got stuck in Jhilmil area under lockdown.

The girl made up her mind to complain against the accused doctor and she complained about the matter to the Vivek Vihar police station.
