Isle of Man International Tournament  ~ Harika Dronavalli remains unbeaten after three rounds.

In the third round of the Isle of Man International Tournament on Monday night, the Indian Grand Master Harika Dronavalli gave a tough fight to Swedish Grand Master Nils Grandelius which led to the draw of-of the match. 

"The game was really complicated from the initial stages and in the middle game too," Harila said.

"Towards the end of the game, the positions remained unclear which led us to enter into a clearly equal variation ultimately leading to a draw," the 26-year-old added.

Harika after the end of three rounds registered two wins and a draw. After the end of the third round, Harika is tied for second place in this formidable field of 160 players. The World No. 10 Indian playing with white pieces wanted to continue her form but couldn't as the Swedish GM put up a staunch fight to lead the game. 

In the fourth-round encounter, today later in the night, the Indian chess player will have a face-off with French Grand Master Laurent Fressinet. It will be exciting to see her performance as people hope her to win and move forward in the tournament.
