Right now in the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the case of former Naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav can be further advocated. But the government has to decide in this regard. The government is negotiating with Pakistan on this issue through several means. Senior advocate Harish Salve said this. Salve has pleaded on behalf of India in the Kulbhushan case in the International Court of Justice. In July 2019, the ICJ has asked Pakistan not to hang Jadhav and reconsider the sentence.
In the Dattopant Thengadi Lecture, organized by the Advocate Council, he told the experiences of the International Court of Justice during the hearing in the Jadhav case and has given many instructions as per international provisions but Pakistan does not follow it properly. We can also put this point before the court.
Jadhav has been arrested by Pakistan for being an Indian spy and sentenced him to death by prosecuting in a military court. Pakistan has also said to be involved in Jadhav's sabotage incidents.
