The government is negotiating with Pakistan on this issue through several means. Senior advocate Harish Salve said this. Salve has pleaded on behalf of India in the Kulbhushan case in the International Court of Justice. In July 2019, the ICJ has asked Pakistan not to hang Jadhav and reconsider the sentence.
