Haryana:
On Friday ,The Haryana government will ready to set up colleges for girls within 20 Kms of cities,town and villages to safeguard that girls do not have to travel far for higher education,said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Haryana's CM said, as part of the initiative, 17 new colleges fro just women would be started from the coming academic session.
Ram Bilas Sharma(Haryana's Education Minister)  also informed  that," the government would be setting up an educational institute in the name of Captain Pawan Kumar, who died while fighting terrorists in Pampore last month"
This demand has raised by MLA Prem Lata,she said," villagers there wanted an educational institute in the memory of the martyr and that they had promised to provide land free of cost. 
Meanwhile, O P Dhankar(Irrigation Minister) said, "as Capt Pawan Kumar was unmarried and that his family members do not want a job, an institute in his memory should be set up"
The Government will also set up a university at Lakhnaur Sahib at Ambala district to be named after the great Guru Gobind Singh.
