Hisar: A case of gang rape of a 10-year-old girl by a total of 5 minors, has come to light in a village under Rewari district of Haryana. The victim and the accused are residents of the same village. The boys not only gangraped the girl but also made a video of the entire incident and posted it on social media. It was through this video that the girl's family came to know about the incident.

One of the six accused is 19 years old, while the remaining five are said to be between 10 and 13 years of age. Police have registered a case on the complaint of the girl's family and arrested the five minor accused and sent them to a juvenile home while the search is on for the sixth adult accused. The case is said to be dated May 24. According to the information received, the minor girl was lured to the government school in the village by the accused during a wedding ceremony. Here the they all raped the girl. 

The accused had also made the video of the entire incident which was being made viral in the vicinity through social media and WhatsApp. The girl had not told the family anything out of fear. The same video also reached the girl's neighbour after which they informed the family. The family then rushed to the police station with the girl and registered a case. After which police registered a case under sections of POCSO Act, SC/ST Act and IT Act on Tuesday night and detained the five minor accused in the night itself. All the five minor accused have been sent to a juvenile home. Meanwhile, the main adult accused is said to be absconding.
