Chandigarh: In Haryana's Hisar district, on Tuesday, a young man first stabbed his wife to death with a sharp weapon and then hanged herself at home. After receiving the information of this incident, the police reached the spot and took both the bodies in the possession and sent them to the hospital for postmortem.

After receiving the bodies of both of them, their families have told that the deceased Krishna wife Savita had gone to the farm to fetch the animal feed on a bike. At some point, there was an argument between the two, while there, he killed his wife Savita's neck, arms and legs with a sharp weapon and left the corpse on the spot and returned home by bike alone. After this, when the family saw that Savita had not come along, she went to the farm and went there and saw that Savita's body was lying in the field itself.

After this, when the family returned home, they saw that Krishna had also committed suicide by placing a rope in a fan in a room in his house. After this, the family informed the police, then DSP Joginder Rathi and the station in-charge Dalbir Singh along with the police colleagues arrived on the spot. Police said that in view of the seriousness of the case, evidence is being collected.
