Jind: A 35-year-old woman who worked as a computer operator at the SDM office at Uchana Nagar in Jind district of Haryana, committed suicide by consuming poisonous substances. Giving information about the case on Friday, the police said that the woman had left a suicide note and an audio clip in which she accused some employees posted at the SDM office that they had to take this step because of them.

A senior police officer of Uchana police station said that on the basis of the complaint of the woman's family and the suicide note left by the deceased, a case has been registered against 12 people under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Uchana police station in-charge Ravindra Dhankhar said that SDM has also been named in the complaint. He said that the woman left a suicide note and a voice recording of four pages before committing suicide. Dhankhar said that he has demanded action in the case from Jind's SP.

He said that the deceased woman was working in the SDM office on contractual basis. She said that her family claimed that she was the only woman working in the SDM office at Uchana in Jind district of Haryana.
