Chandigarh: In Haryana's Jind, a case of alleged rape of a young woman has come to light. The rape accused is the uncle of the victim's relative. It is alleged that the girl was raped by blackmailing her by making an obscene video. On the complaint of the victim, the Garhi police station has registered a case against the uncles of the relationship under various sections including sexual abuse, hostage, and giving intoxicants. Police is probing the matter.
According to the information, a girl from Sadar police station Narwana area has given information in the complaint given to Uchana police station that she studies in Rohtak. According to the complaint, in December 2018, she was returning back to her home with Gurvindra from the same village as her uncle in the relationship. While changing the bus at Jind bus stand, Gurvindra had brought her a bottle of water, after drinking which her health deteriorated.
After this, the accused uncle forcibly took the girl to his brother-in-law Azad's house, where Gurvinder raped her and also made a pornographic video of her. According to the complaint given by the victim, the accused continued to sexually assault her and extort money by threatening to put the video on the internet.
