Chandigarh: The farmers' movement has entered the 26th day today against the three agricultural laws aimed at liberalizing the agricultural economy, but still the farmer movement does not seem to end. The government is engaged in persuading the farmers in every way and according to their demands, is also ready to give written assurance on the MSP.

Meanwhile, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar has again assured the farmers that if someone tries to abolish the Minimum Support Price, they will leave politics. Addressing a public meeting on Sunday in Narnaul, Haryana, CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that the MSP will never end and it will always be there. If someone tries to end it, they will leave. He said, "MSP was there before, still is and will continue to be." He said that few people are opposing these laws for political reasons.

CM Khattar said that 'in democracy, everyone has the right to express his views, but methods like making pressure by closing roads have no place in a democracy. There are other ways to protest.' Speaking at a rally among senior BJP leaders, he said that 'the central government has set a target to double farmers' income by 2022. Farmers' income will be doubled in several stages, one of which includes agrarian reform.
