Haryana: Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala's big statement, says he will resign if farmers stop getting MSP

Chandigarh: The Bharatiya Janata Party, an ally in Haryana's coalition government, has started a new process amidst the farmers' agitation. The first informal meeting on Thursday was held at the residence of the state's deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala. The message was given to the strengthening of the coalition government by both the parties. Also indicated withdrawal of cases registered against the farmers.

Immediately after the meeting, Dushyant said that as long as the farmers of Haryana get the minimum support price, they are part of the government. The day the farmers do not get MSP in the state will leave the share from the government. CM Manohar Lal Khattar said MSP will not end. The coalition government is strong and will work in the interest of the State for the next four years. Chautala said that Jannayak Janata Party National President Dr Ajay Singh Chautala had first urged the Centre to include MSP in writing, which the central government is ready for.

He said that as long as we are in government, MSP will be ensured on each grain of farmers' produce. On the day the when MSP system fails to do so, I will resign on that same day. He asked the Congress leaders to look at the historic purchase of Bajra in Haryana if anyone has any doubts thereafter.
