Amritsar: Dera Sacha chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim has come out of jail on parole in the morning today, June 17 (Friday). Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is serving his sentence in Rohtak's Sunaria jail, has come out on parole at 6.30 this morning. It is being told that Ram Rahim has gone to the Dera Sacha Sauda dera in Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. Honeypreet had arrived to pick him up from Sunaria jail. He has been granted parole for one month.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim is serving a sentence in Sunaria jail in connection with the sexual exploitation of two sadhvis and the murder of journalist Ramchandra Chhatrapati. He has come out on parole from Sunaria jail at 6.30 am. It is being told that after coming out of the jail, Ram Rahim has gone to the dera in Baghpat after Uttar Pradesh. Gurmeet Ram Rahim was earlier granted a 21-day parole.
Gurmeet Ram Rahim had reached his cousin Charanjit and his daughter Honeypreet Sunaria jail to pick him up. Along with these two, Gurmeet Ram Rahim left for Baghpat from jail. Gurmeet has been taken away amidst tight security. At present, the jail administration has granted one month's parole to Ram Rahim. The Uttar Pradesh police had given it to the NOC court regarding his security. Due to this, he has been granted parole on the condition of staying in UP.
