GURUGRAM: A cook was stabbed by his own accomplice over a dispute over cutting paneer at a hotel in Gurugram, Haryana. After the incident, the accused fled from the spot. The police are now on the lookout for him. At the same time, it is being told that the condition of the victim admitted to the hospital is stable. According to the police, 22-year-old Saurav of Sonipat works as a cook at a hotel in Sector 49.
 
Saurav had said that on March 10, around 10 pm, Sunil, Vishnu and Swaran were working in the kitchen of Maya Panda hotel. He reached the kitchen to get mushrooms, in the meantime, he saw that his partner Vishnu was wrongly cutting paneer. When I asked him to cut small pieces of paneer instead of cutting large pieces of cheese, he got angry and started abusing me. When I stopped him from abusing me, he stabbed me in the stomach. I fell to the floor. Later, hearing my screams, the restaurant staff came and rushed me to the hospital.

At the same time, the police said that the victim was referred to PGI Rohtak, where his condition is now stable. A police official said the stabbing incident was reported on March 14. At the time, doctors had said that the victim could not give a statement. His statement could be recorded on Tuesday. Police said the accused could not be arrested yet. Efforts are on to catch him.
