Chandigarh: Home Minister Anil Vij of Haryana has been discharged from Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. He has left for Ambala. His health had worsened after being corona infected. He was sent from PGI Rohtak to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. Earlier, PGI Rohtak was referred to Home Minister Anil Vij from Ambala Hospital.

Anil Vij had a lung infection. He took the first dose of Corona's vaccine 'Covaxine' on 20 November. He tweeted that he had become corona infected even after taking the vaccine on December 5. After this, the Health Ministry had to give clarification in this matter, saying that Anil Vij was given the dose of 'Covaxine' being developed by Bharat Biotech and ICMR. Later Vij himself said that the doctors had already told him that the corona vaccine starts working after 14 days till taking the second dose.

The second dose of the vaccine is applied 28 days after the first dose, after which antibodies develop in the body only after 14 days. Only then can you get protection from the corona. That is, this entire process takes 42 to 45 days. There is no protection from the vaccine in the middle.
