New Delhi: For the past several days, well-known wrestlers have been protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Their demand is that the President of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and BJP MP Braj Bhushan Sharan Singh should be arrested. Actually, Braj Bhushan Singh has been accused of sexual exploitation. Delhi Police has registered two FIRs against him and started investigation, but no arrest has been made yet. Against this the wrestlers are sitting on dharna.

Now these wrestlers who are protesting have got the support of Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij. Supporting the wrestlers, Anil Vij has said that he himself has also been the Sports Minister and in such a situation he is completely with the players. He said that if needed, he will talk to the central government in this matter. Let us tell you that earlier the wrestlers had got a big blow from the Supreme Court. While disposing of the petition filed on behalf of the wrestlers, the top court had said that the wrestlers had filed the petition for registering an FIR and the FIR has been registered.

After this, the reaction of Union Minister Anurag Thakur also came to the fore. In which the Union Minister had said that the apex court has given its verdict. He had requested the wrestlers to let the matter be investigated, action will be taken against whoever is found guilty after the investigation. But, till then all the wrestlers should end their strike and focus on their respective sports. But, the wrestler is adamant on the demand for Braj Bhushan Singh's resignation and his arrest. Earlier, the wrestlers had even threatened to return the medals. The female wrestler had announced on Thursday that all the wrestlers involved in the strike have decided to return their medals.
