Fatehabad: A case of rape and assault of his minor sister-in-law by a person resident of a colony on DSP Road in Fatehabad has been heard. The minor sister-in-law was recovered by dial 112 police on September 28 and taken to the one-stop centre. She is scheduled to be produced before the Child Welfare Committee on the coming day, where she revealed this in counselling. The police have registered a case against the accused brother-in-law on the complaint of the minor victim. The women's police station registered a zero FIR in this regard and a report was also sent to the Agra police station. Agra police are going to take action in the case.
According to the case, in his complaint to the police, the minor has said that his sister is married in Fatehabad and living on rent. She came to live at her sister's house five months ago. There she befriended her brother-in-law, and later she went to her village. After which there was talk on the phone. The accused brother-in-law has said that if she does not come to him, he will commit suicide. She couldn't refuse because she liked him and the accused took her from her village to Chandigarh. There she got married in a temple and was living with the accused on rent for one and a half months.
On September 10, the two came to Fatehabad and started living in a rented room. After which on September 28, the accused fought with her, beat her up and burnt her hand and left her. On this, he informed Dial 112, which led him to the one-stop centre. When counselling was done here, the case was revealed. Woman police station in-charge Kavita says that a zero FIR has been registered on the complaint of the minor and a report has been sent to the Agra police.
