Jhajjar: A major road accident is being reported in Bahadurgarh in the Jhajjar district of Haryana. Eight people were killed and one child injured in the massive road accident. While the dead include a child and three women. The police have been investigating the case. According to information received, the accident took place on the KMP Expressway highway between Badli and Farrukhnagar in Bahadurgarh.

The occupants of the Artiga car were heading towards Gurgaon. Meanwhile, eight people were killed on the spot when a speeding truck hit the car from behind. The accused truck driver fled the spot after the accident. Police are investigating the case. Police have sent the bodies to the general hospital in Bahadurgarh for identification and postmortem. A police officer who rushed to the spot said that eight people have lost their lives in the accident. The absconding truck driver is being searched. The injured child is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

According to reports, those killed in the accident on the KMP Expressway highway were residents of Firozabad in UP. People from Nagla Anup village in Firozabad were returning home from Goga Medi. All the deceased are said to be members of the same family. A total of eleven people were present in the rental Artiga car. The car was parked during the incident and some people went to the toilet. At present, the driver of the car, a woman and a girl have been saved and the remaining 8 people have died.
