Chandigarh: Police have taken two persons, including a woman, into custody in a honeytrap case in the Jind district of Haryana on Monday. The victim had complained to the SP that he had been implicated in the honey trap case and demanded Rs 6 lakh. He started threatening to implicate him in a rape case for not paying the money. Narwana police investigated and arrested three persons including the woman. It is also being said that rs 6 lakh was demanded in lieu of compromising with women youths. In which half of the amount was now asked to be paid at the time of testimony and half at the time of testimony. Police have registered a case against the woman and her 2 associates and started questioning.

Not only that, a young woman from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh had said in a complaint to the police that she had come to Narwana on March 27. She was scheduled to leave for Kurukshetra with her friends on March 28. 8-10 youths were assaulted under the influence of alcohol near village Hatho. Meanwhile, an attempt was also made to rape her. Police had registered a case against 8-10 youths. On Monday, the woman along with her fellow village Barta Kaithal resident Sandeep Sharma reached Narwana and asked for money.

Control with an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh: According to the information received, as soon as the youths gave money on the canal bridge, the team also seized the woman and Sandeep along with 2.5 lakh rupees of the amount arrested. Police have registered a case under various sections against the woman and her accomplice Sandeep Sharma in the case. The investigating team has taken action and arrested the woman and her accomplice along with an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh.
