In Panipat, the premises for preparation of bulk drug materials will be built on the industrial land developed under the central government scheme. The park will be built to encourage the production of bulk pharmaceutical chemicals. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has informed about this by addressing the CII Pharmacope program of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) through an online platform. CM Khattar said that the state government also plans to make a large centre of manufacturing of medical equipment in 225 acres of land in Karnal. This place is just 25 kilometres from the wholesale drug park of Panipat. He termed these announcements of the state government as a step towards self-reliant India, which will be 'Made in India' as well as 'Made for the world'.
