Two accused arrested for beating youth to death on suspicion of...!

Faridabad: Mujesar police have arrested two accused in connection with the lynching of a youth suspected of stealing a battery in Faridabad, Haryana two days ago. The arrested accused have been identified as Yogesh and Pankaj, residents of Mujesar village in Faridabad.  The father of the deceased Deepak said he lives in Indira Colony in Sector-7. He has two sons Deepak and Raju.

According to Deepak's father, he was on his way from Mujesar Market at around 12:00 pm on September 30 when he received information that Deepak had been assaulted by someone suspected of stealing an auto battery. He then went in search of his son. At around 5:00 p.m., he found out that Deepak was lying behind the machine market near the railway line. Deepak was craving there. He told his father that the accused Yogesh and Pankaj had beaten him with sticks and rods. By the time Deepak's father made arrangements to take him to the hospital, he died.

The accused suspected that their auto battery was stolen by Deepak. It was because of this suspicion that they brutally beat Deepak. On the complaint of the deceased's father, a case under sections of murder was registered against the accused at Thana Mujesar and an inquiry was initiated. The team of inspector Sandeep in charge of the police station arrested the two accused in the case from Mujesar Market on Friday.
