Yamunanagar police arrested RPF sub-inspector in connection with the murder of his pregnant wife

Chandigarh: A sub-inspector has been arrested for killing a 5-month-old pregnant wife in Yamunanagar, Haryana. An attempt was made to get his wife out of his way. Yamunanagar SP Kamaldeep Goel said that crime branch Yamunanagar-1 was entrusted with the responsibility of solving the murder case, which revealed the murder case in the Farakpur police station area during the operation.

The police team has arrested the main accused in the murder case who was posted as a sub-inspector in railway police. The sub-inspector in the railway police named Afsar Ali is accused of systematically killing his five-month-old pregnant wife Najma along with his cousin and trying to throw dust in the eyes of the law by making it a road accident.

This came to light when the Crime Branch-1 team launched a rigorous investigation, which showed Najma's accident, from Officer Ali's UP village. Officer Ali also confessed his crime in interrogation after which he has been arrested and sent behind bars. Police said the officer wanted to give Najma triple talaq, but due to a stringent law on triple talaq, he could not do so and killed his wife.
