Lucknow: Police on Saturday arrested son of Haryana police sub-inspector in Noida for allegedly cheating financial service provider American Express of Rs 3 crore.

As per report, the accused were identified as 26-year-old Sunil, 23-old Sandeep Kumar and 24-year-old Sandeep Beniwal.

According to the report, the gang involved two brothers and a friend, who used to get credit cards issued in Australia with fake documents and then he would shop jewellery from showrooms in Delhi and National Capital Region. After which the gang would sell the jewellery to get cash.

As per the report in the Times of India, Sunila and Sandeep Beniwal are sons of a CID sub-inspector who has been posted in Hisar, Haryana.

 Reportedly, Sunil is a graphic designer based in Australia, who is on a student visa for five years, he used to get credit cards there using forged documents. And he would then send these cards to his brother in India, who along with his friend would go on a shopping spree using the same card. Reportedly, the American Express has alleged that this has caused them a loss of Rs 3 crore. 

However, the police have arrested the accused and they have confiscated 5 credit cards, 10 Aadhaar cards, seven PAN cards and six ATM cards.
