There are many railway stations in India where some such incidents happen which people are afraid to go and visit. You must have never heard that the railway station is closed due to one girl, it seems strange to hear and that too when the station has been opened for only seven years. This is absolutely true. This railway station is in Purulia district of West Bengal, which is named Begunkodor railway station.

This railway station was opened in the year 1960. It has been an important contribution by the queen of Santhal, Mrs. Lachan Kumari. A railway employee of the city claimed to have seen the ghost of a woman at the station. There was also a rumor that she had died in a train accident at the same station. Elve employee told people about it, but he ignored her.

The real trouble started when the then station master of Begunkodor and his family were found dead in the railway quarters. People living here claimed that the same ghost was responsible for these deaths. They said that the sun was rising Whenever a train passed through here, the ghost of the woman used to run along with it and sometimes it ran faster than the train and went ahead of it. Was claimed to be seen dancing on the tracks. After these dreadful incidents, Beguncodor started being considered as a ghostly railway station and it was also recorded in the railway records. Within the people, the fear of this woman's ghost had increased so much that she started clipping with the arrival of this station. Slowly People stopped coming and going here. Even the railway employees working at the station fled due to fear.

It is said that whenever a railway employee was posted at Begunkodor station, he would immediately refuse to come here. Even the trains stopped at this station, because neither passenger wanted to get here due to fear. Neither did anyone come to this station to board the train. After this, the entire station became deserted. It is said that the ghost talk at this station from Purulia district to Kol. Tata and even reached the Ministry of Railways. It is said that whenever a train passed through this station, the locos would increase the speed of the train before coming to the pilot station, so that at the earliest it To cross the station. Even the people in the train used to close the windows and doors before coming to the station. However, after 42 years, in 2009, at the behest of the villagers, the then Railway Minister Mamta Banerjee opened this station once again. Since then there has been no claim of any ghost sighting at this station, but people still do not stop at the station after the sun sets.
