Bhopal:  Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Tuesday said that he has “complete trust” in his Members of Legislative Assembly, while also revealing that cases of horse-trading for at least 10 of his MLAs has come to his notice.

Nath told ANI, “I have complete trust on the MLAs of Congress party. At least 10 MLAs have told me now that they are getting phone calls where they are being offered money and posts.”

The Nath further added, “They (BJP) have been trying this since Day 1. We have proved our majority at least four times in the past five months. If they want to do it again, we have no problem. They’ll try their best to disturb the present government in the state to save themselves from getting exposed... Our government is prepared for a floor test,”

MP CM further said that Nath had yesterday announced that he was ready for a floor test while at the same time accusing the BJP of attempting to destabilise his government to “save itself from getting exposed”.

In MP Assembly, The Congress has 114 and the BJP has 109 seats in the 230-member. The ruling government is supported by two Samajwadi Party (SP) MLAs, one Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA and four Independent MLAs.
