You must have heard a lot about mushrooms. mushrooms are quite healthy and powerful. It is delicious as well as healthy. You may have made and eaten the vegetables of mushrooms, but have you eaten a very nice and healthy mushroom pulao? If not, don't panic, we're going to tell you about it here today.
Ingredients- Basmati rice 1.5 cups, button mushroom 250 g, onion medium-sized chopped, tomato medium-sized chopped, potatoes medium-sized chopped, cumin seeds 1 tsp, Cardamom powder, five cloves, pepper powder, cinnamon, green chillies 1-2 finely chopped, 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, water 2.5 cups, oil 2 tbsp, salt to taste.
Method- First wash the rice and set it aside for 20-30 minutes. When the rice is completely soaked in water, add oil to the pressure cooker and keep it for heating. Add cumin seeds, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and pepper to hot oil. When the spices are added to the hot oil start scenting after frying, add chopped onions and fry till golden. After the onion is roasted, add a paste made of ginger garlic. Fry it too until it is completely golden in colour.
Now add chopped tomatoes, mushrooms and potatoes and fry for 9-10 minutes. Now, after adding all the ingredients, add the soaked rice and run well so that the added masala is completely mixed with the rice. Now add water and salt and let it cook on a low flame. Turn off the flame of the gas when the pressure cooker whistles. Now your pulao has been made. Now take out the mushroom pulao on a plate and serve hot with vegetable raita, salad and some lemon and enjoy it.
