Hyderabad Central University ( HCU ), which is renowned in many fields, has achieved another accolade. HCU was ranked second in a survey conducted by a leading company. The survey was conducted at 995 universities across the country offering postgraduate degrees in General (Arts, Science, and Commerce), Technology, Medicine, and Law.

This was confirmed on the ranks of varsities on a ten-point rating scale. JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) in Delhi came first and HCU came second. Ranks were assigned to 130 universities across the country. HCU Vice-Chancellor Podile Apparao said varsity research methods were not recognized for getting a better rank. HCU from Telugu states is fortunate to have achieved this reward.
