Former legendary Australian fast bowler Jeff Thomson has raised stocks of Indian speed merchant Jasprit Bumrah ahead of the worldcup. During an interaction with news agency PTI, the former Thomson said Bumrah has got better with his experience as he continues to remain the standout seamer for Virat Kohli and Co. "Bumrah is really good. He is someone, more that he has bowled, the better he has got. That's how it should work," Jeff Thomson told PTI.

Talking about the  individual brilliance of Bumrah, Thomson said the Gujrat slinger has got raw pace and he also mixes his deliveries whenever he wants to add on variations during his bowling spell. Thomson asserted that the Indian pacer makes sure he is awkward too read at times as he hardly saw any player reading his deliveries the right way.

Thomson said, "He has got raw pace to burn opposition as and when he wants to but he mixes it up. And he is awkward too to read. I haven't seen batsmen reading him well. He is unorthodox and that's what makes him different,"
