Srinagar: National Conference President and former CM Farooq Abdullah has made a strong statement after meeting the deceased family after Kashmiri Pandit Makhanlal Bindru was killed by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Abdullah has described the killers as cruel and said Bindru was killed by the devils. Abdullah said he knew Bindru privately and he wanted to serve the poor.

Farooq got emotional as he confronted the media about Bindru. He said, "He is not in this world today. He was killed by our devils. He did everything for the people. People ran away from here, but he didn't run away. He stayed here that he had to serve the poor.''

Talking to the media, Bindru's daughter Shraddha challenged the terrorists who killed her father and said that her father was a Kashmiri Pandit and he could never die. Terrorists can kill their bodies, but their souls will survive. Shraddha further said, 'You can only throw stones or shoot from behind. I'm my father's daughter. If you have the courage, come in front of me and talk face to face. Shraddha said her father Makhanlal Bindru was a warrior and he could never die.'
