New Delhi: Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan on Tuesday has advised people not to panic, due to rising coronavirus patients in the country. Dr. Harshvardhan said that we see on TV that India has reached the third place among the most corona affected countries in the world. Many people are worried about this, but we need to see it from the right perspective. Dr. Harshvardhan says that we are the second-most populous country in the world. The average number of corona patients in our country is much lower than the world infected rate. Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that India has become the third country in the world in terms of corona patients, but if compared to the world, we have a very low rate of infection. We have 538 corona cases per million, while the world average is 1,453. Health Minister Harsh Vardhan further said that experts have reiterated that there is no community transmission of the epidemic in India. There are some areas where transmission is high, but there is no community transmission of coronavirus in the country.

Let us tell you that the outbreak of coronavirus is continuing across the country. According to the latest data of the Union Health Ministry, there have been a total of 7,67,296 cases of corona in India so far. Of this, 2,69,789 are active cases while 4,76,378 people have been cured of the disease. So far, 21,129 people have died due to this disease in the country. While 24,879 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and 487 people have died.
