Health Ministry reports: People not improving even after so many deaths

New Delhi: The second wave of corona virus has wreaked havoc on India in such a way that the country's health system has also collapsed. Thousands of people are dying every day, millions are getting infected with the virus. Lockdown has been imposed in several States of the country. It has appealed to the people to leave the house only for essential sahebs and whenever they leave, they must wear masks and follow social distensing. But people do not believe these things. According to the health ministry report, 50 per cent of the people still do not wear masks.

According to a study, 50 per cent of people still don't wear masks, while 64 per cent of people who wear masks don't cover their noses, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday. In a media briefing on Thursday, Health Ministry Joint Secretary Luv Agarwal said that there are more than 1 lakh active cases in eight states of the country, 50,000-1 lakh active cases in 9 states and less than 50,000 active cases in 19 states.

Agarwal said, "Some states like Karnataka and West Bengal are showing more than 25 per cent positive rates which is a matter of concern. The Health Ministry said india has steadily increased its weekly corona trials since mid-February and the average daily trials have increased 2.3 times in the last 12 weeks.
