Lucknow: Hearing in Varanasi's Gyanvapi Masjid case will not be held in the court today. Due to the strike of lawyers, the hearing of the Gyanvapi case will not be held today. The court can give the next date today. Today, on the objection of the plaintiff woman and the application of the government advocate, Civil Judge Senior Division Ravi Kumar Diwakar was to be heard in the court.

In fact, there is a state-level lawyers' strike in Varanasi today and on May 20. Lawyers are on strike due to outrage over a letter of governance against the lawyers. This has also affected the hearing of the Gyanvapi Masjid case. Today, a petition seeking a survey of the remaining parts of the temple and removal of the wall around the alleged Shivling was to be heard. The survey of Gyanvapi has been completed and the top court has also refused to stay the further hearing in the civil court. So now it is the turn to settle some further disputes and demands.

After the claim of having found Shivling, now a demand has been made to remove the wall in front of Shringar Gauri. Hearing on this was to be held in Varanasi Civil Court today. This petition has been filed by three women, who want the right to worship. The demand for removal of debris from the spot was also going to be heard today and also on the demand of the government side that the place of Namaz should be shifted.
