Lucknow: A shocking incident took place in the Kanpur Dehat district of Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that the administration team, which reached Madauli village under the Rura police station area to remove the encroachment, took bulldozer action on the hut of a family. During this time, a fire broke out in it and the mother and daughter were burnt alive. Also, the father and son suffered serious burns. After the incident, an FIR has been registered against about 24 people including SDM, Lekhpal, and SO in this case.
Kanpur Dehat Superintendent of Police (SP) has informed that a case has been registered against several officers on the complaint of the family. The officials against whom the case has been registered include SDM Maitha Dnyaneshwar Prasad, Rura SO Dinesh Kumar Gautam, Lekhpal Ashok Singh, JCB driver Deepak, Residents of Madauli village along with Ashok, Anil, Nirmal, and Vishal. Not only this, 10 to 12 unidentified people, three Lekhpal, and 12 to 15 female and male policemen have also been booked.
After getting information about the incident, Kanpur Commissioner, ADG and IG reached the spot with a heavy police force. The officials assured strict action to the victim's family. After getting information about the incident, the Minister of State in the Yogi government also reached the spot. He made serious allegations against the DM regarding this action.

The victim's family alleges that Krishna Gopal's wife and daughter were present inside the hut when the administration canned the bulldozer on the hut. As soon as the bulldozer drove into the hut, a fire broke out in it and both the woman and daughter burnt alive.
What is the police's side:-
Regarding the incident, the Superintendent of Police of Kanpur Dehat says that a team had arrived to remove the encroachment. After the team's action began, the woman and her daughter locked themselves in the hut and set themselves on fire. In which both of them died due to burns. The matter is being investigated. The interrogation is also going on. Action will be taken against those found guilty.
