Television actor and heartthrob  Parth Samthaan  who plays the role of Anurag Basu in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay has reached to new hights of Fame with the show. In the show  Erica Fernandes plays the role of  Prerna Sharma.

When  ace producer, Ekta Kapoor announced that she would be coming back with the remake of  Kasauti Zindagii Kay with a new cast, the audience couldn't keep their excitement. In the 2000s, Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay that starred Shweta Tiwari as Prerna and Cezanne Khan as Anurag had  every Indian family watching it  on the television screens. The characters of Prerna and Anurag were played by Shweta and Cezzane and  were stuck in the minds of the audiences. 

The remake of Kasautii Zindagii Kay stars Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes as the male and female protagonists. The show went on air in September 2018 and it has become one of the top shows on Indian TV. The audience is in love with Erica and Parth's characters of Prerna and Anurag in the show. Recently, Parth Samthaan  sat on the director's chair and started directing the actors to do scenes.
