Lata Mangeshkar needs no introduction whenever you hear music the first name the came in your mind is Lata Mangeshkar. She is renowned as the Sur Kokila of the entertainment industry. She was born on 28 September 1929 in Indore. His father Pt. Deenanath Mangeshkar was a well-known name in the world of music.  At the age of 13, her father died. The responsibility of all the members in the family came in her hand. Lata had four siblings Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar, Meena Mangeshkar, and Hridaynath Mangeshkar along with the mother.

After her father’s death Lata started working to earn a living. She started acting and singing. Her first song for the Marathi film 'Pehli Mangala Gaur' released in the year 1942.  Today is the first death anniversary of the veteran singer. She died on this day, February 6, 2022. At the age of 92, She breathed his last at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. She had sung more than 50,000 songs in 36 languages. On her Birthday have a look on the interesting incident about her.

She added, “Our family doesn't want to talk about it because it was the most painful moment of my life.”  Lata ji once revealed that someone had tried to kill her by giving slow poison, she come to know about it but she did not had any proof so she did not filed a complaint against that person and the name of that person never came to the fore.  Lata's voice had gone due to poisoning, but Lata ji herself denied this and said that her voice never went away due to poison, these were only rumours.”
