Patna: The heatwave is wreaking havoc in Bihar. Several parts of Bihar, including the capital Patna, are reeling under severe heatwave conditions. In view of the scorching heat, the administration has also now come into alert mode. The district administration has issued a fresh order regarding the timings of studies in educational institutions in the capital Patna. The order will come into effect from April 27.
Patna Collector Dr Chandrashekhar Singh has issued an order saying that studies in educational institutions will not take place after 10.45 p.m. After 10.45 p.m., the collector has banned studies in schools. He said that the order issued regarding studies will be applicable to all schools and educational activities in the district.
At the same time, Patna Collector Dr Chandrashekhar Singh said in this regard that the heatwave has been going on for the past few days. It is getting hot in Patna in the afternoon. This can have an adverse effect on the health of children and on their lives. In view of this possibility, it has been decided to change the study time in schools. Apart from Patna, the Muzaffarpur district administration has also issued an order banning educational activities after 11.30 pm. Muzaffarpur Collector has said that if any educational institution is found open after 11.30 pm, strict action will be taken against it. It is worth noting that the effect of severe heat has been seen in Bihar for the past few days.
