Visakhapatnam: The Tirupati Temple, one of the richest temples in the country, is flooded with devotees these days. In Andhra Pradesh, thousands of devotees are reaching the Tirupati Balaji temple of Lord Venkateswar in Chittoor district every day for the past one week. On August 16, thousands of devotees visited the place and visited god.
According to the information received, 80,957 devotees visited God on Friday, August 16. A total of Rs 3.32 crore came to the temple as offerings. It may be mentioned that a large number of devotees have been visiting the Tirupati temple for the past one week, giving a long queue of devotees for daily darshan. The average time of Sarvadarshan has also been reduced to 16 hours, allowing devotees to visit God for 16 hours. The number of devotees in the temple can be gauged from the fact that all the compartments that go to the temple are full and the devotees have to wait outside the Q Complex.
Not only that, there is a 2 to 3 km long queue of devotees to see Balaji.... Lord Venkateshwara or Balaji is considered to be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is believed that Lord Vishnu had lived on the banks of a pond called Swami Pushkarni for some time.
