Heavy rains caused outcry in Uttarakhand, several roads blocked

Dehradun: Heavy rain warning has been issued in several parts of Uttarakhand. The administration is on alert. At the same time, char Dham yatra has been banned. Not only this, schools and colleges have also been closed as a precautionary measure. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has discussed the rain and flood situation with the Chief Minister. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also taken stock of the damage caused by heavy rains in the state from the disaster control room at the Secretariat.

At the same time, the CM is continuously taking updates from senior officers and district magistrates. Also, guidelines have been issued for tourists visiting here to stay indoors. Avoid travelling without any reason. Many rivers are overflowing after the rains in the mountains. The flow of the Mandakini river has become very fast. The state government held an emergency meeting on Monday to deal with any situation in a good manner. In Uttarakhand, the problem is increasing due to incessant rains at many places.

 

 

The same is the scene of Nainital, a popular tourist spot in Uttarakhand, which people have not seen to date. It has been raining continuously for 24 hours, which has increased the water of Naini Lake so much that the water has reached Mall Road. The water has landed at the moment, but the routes are closed.  Some photos surfaced at night where people were seen passing through mall road in water till the ankle. After opening the exit gates of Naini Lake, the residents of the houses built around the nullah remained tense. Nainital remained cut off from Haldwani and Bhawali. There was a power failure. Heavy rains have brought debris to the roads, blocking the routes. All national highways from Nainital, Ranikhet, Almora to Haldwani and Kathgodam have been closed due to heavy rains.
