New Delhi: The country has received good monsoon rains this year. Which brought relief to the farmers who had been suffering for the past several years. But now these rains are starting to become canker for crops. Due to excessive rainfall, the sowing area has been reduced rather than increased. Heavy rains have caused flooding in many states. Due to which the crop planted in the field is spoiled. This double loss will give a big blow to the rural economy. Which is already facing bad conditions.

While the main crop of Kharif season, paddy has been reduced, the area of important crops like pulses has decreased. In the current monsoon season, the rain has been continuously in the remaining months except for June. The rainfall has been above average in most parts of the country. Monsoon rains continue in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. The floods caused by this returning monsoon rain have caused havoc in these states. This has had the greatest impact on the standing crops in the fields.

According to the data released by the Meteorological Department, rains have been recorded three percent more than normal so far. Last week, Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar had predicted bumper yields in the Kharif season. But there is a danger of production being affected in view of reduced sowing area and the possibility of damage from floods. This can spoil the economy of agriculture, which can spoil the condition of farmers. Explain that this is the last week of monsoon. Increased soil moisture will be a boon for the rabi season.
