Bhopal: Rain has wreaked havoc in Madhya Pradesh for the past few days. Several districts here have been submerged due to rain. Heavy rain has caused floods in many districts. CM Shivraj and Union Civil and Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia are constantly monitoring the deteriorating flood situation in Shivpuri, Sheopur, Bhind, Guna. In fact, Jyotiraditya Scindia is in touch with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as well as collectors and public representatives of all the affected districts to take moment-by-moment news of relief and rescue operations.

However, due to very bad weather, helicopters are failing to rescue and network connections are also being broken. As per the information received, 798mm rainfall has been received in 48 hours. More than 200 villages in Shivpuri, Sheopur district have been submerged. On the other hand, 10 gates of Manikhera Dam have been opened and many people were rescued from 22 villages of Shivpuri. At the same time, the Shivpuri district collector says that 100 people have been rescued this morning. In addition, Collector Sheopur said, the SDRF NDRF team has reached.

Let me tell you that an NDRF team from Lucknow is reaching Sheopur. On the other hand, the Datia Collector says that 6 villages are overwater. People are safe in most of the villages. There are 2 priests trapped in the temple and work is on to protect them from the right operation. Moreover, people were rescued from Mohana, Kariya village in the morning. The air force's response operation is yet to begin due to bad weather conditions here.
