According to the Meteorological Department's forecast, many cities, including Mumbai, may receive moderate to heavy rainfall. At the same time, wind speed will also run at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour. A heavy rainfall alert has been issued in the Thane, Mumbai, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg regions of Maharashtra.

Marine Drive is in the grip of high tide amid heavy rains in Mumbai. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds with a speed of 40-50 km per hour will occur at different places in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar. Also, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Mumbai and Thane due to rain.

In the second phase of the monsoon, many states are getting rain. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Telangana for the next two to three days. At the same time, there will be no rain in the national capital Delhi for a few days now, but the sky will remain cloudy.
